The award winning historical manga A Witch’s Life in Mongol will receive a TV anime adaptation by animation production powerhouse Science SARU (DAN DA DAN, Keep Your Hands Off Eizouken!,
DEVILMAN crybaby). The original work, a manga by Tomato Soup, is currently serialized in Souffle by AKITASHOTEN. The anime’s English title will be Jaadugar: A Witch in Mongolia. To mark the occasion, the animeʼs super teaser visual has also been unveiled for the first time.

In celebration of the announcement, the author Tomato Soup shared a comment to fans:

“Over 10 years ago, long before I began drawing A Witch’s Life in Mongol, I was
fascinated by the history of the Mongolian Empire. I often thought, ‘I wish there were an
anime like this.’ That thought led me to daydream: If such an anime existed, what kind
of characters would appear? What sort of story would unfold?”
